Privacy Policy
Crosscheck (“the App”) is developed by J Krohn. This policy explains what data the App does — and does not — collect.
NO ACCOUNTS, NO SERVER-SIDE DATA
Crosscheck does not require account creation or login. The App does not operate a backend server that stores personal information. All progress data (streaks, badges, answer history, settings) is stored locally on your device.
DEVICE BACKUPS
If you have iCloud or iTunes/Finder backup enabled on your device, your local Crosscheck progress data may be included in that backup like any other app data on your device. This is handled entirely by Apple’s backup system, not by Crosscheck or its developer.
CONTENT DELIVERY
The App fetches question content and update notices from static files hosted at cupertinoaviation.com. These requests do not include any personal or account information — they are simple content downloads, similar to loading a webpage’s images.
NOTIFICATIONS
If you opt in to daily reminder notifications, these are scheduled locally on your device using your device’s operating system. No notification data is sent to or processed by any server.
IN-APP PURCHASES
If you choose to make a voluntary support/tip purchase, or other in-app purchase, that transaction is handled entirely by Apple’s In-App Purchase system, governed by Apple’s own privacy practices. Crosscheck does not receive or store your payment information.
ANALYTICS & TRACKING
Crosscheck does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Crosscheck is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised and, where appropriate, noted in the App’s “What’s New” section.
